Yoropen was inspired by the love of a father for his two daughters. Mr. Boa-shen Liu, an inventor from Taiwan wanted to help his two daughters Yoyo and Roro (hence Yoropen) who were born prematurely and suffering from cerebral palsy.
Recognising that the pen is one of the most important tools used by human beings during the learning process he decided to address the inherent problems that existed in the traditional pen. This has lead to the design of a writing instrument that would enhance and encourage his daughters and all children in their learning.
Mr. Liu has faced and overcome those challenges. He has designed a pen that is useful for his daughters and discovered a writing implement that not only assisted them but all children. In that same process he has delivered to the world a stylish and useful pen that overcomes a multitude of problems for us all.
